At Biosphere Responsible Tourism, S.L. (BRT) we use cookies and similar technologies on our websites www.biospheretourism.com and www.biospheresustainable.com . In this Cookie Policy we explain what they are, which cookies we use, for what purpose and how you can accept them, reject them or withdraw your consent, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Guide on the use of cookies of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a file that is downloaded onto your device (computer, mobile phone or tablet) when you access certain web pages. Cookies allow, among other things, the storage and retrieval of information about your browsing habits or those of your equipment and, depending on the information they contain and how you use your equipment, they may be used to recognise you.

2. What types of cookies do we use?
According to who manages them:
- First-party cookies: these are sent to your device from a domain managed by BRT.
- Third-party cookies: these are sent to your device from a domain managed by another entity, which processes the information obtained through them.
According to how long they remain on your device:
- Session cookies: these are deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies: these remain on your device for the period indicated in the table in Section 3.
According to their purpose:
- Technical cookies: allow you to browse the website and use its options or services, for example, controlling traffic and data communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted-access parts, remembering the items in an order, carrying out the purchase process, requesting registration for a service or event, using security elements during browsing or remembering your cookie preferences. They are necessary for the website to function and do not require your consent.
- Personalisation cookies: allow access to the service with certain predefined features based on criteria of your device, such as language, browser type or regional settings. Where these are expressly requested by you (for example, when choosing a language), they are considered exempt from consent.
- Analytics cookies: allow us, or third parties, to quantify the number of users and to measure and statistically analyse the use made of the website, in order to improve our services. They are only installed if you accept them.
- Advertising and behavioural advertising cookies: allow the management of advertising space and, where applicable, the creation of a profile based on the observation of your browsing habits in order to show you advertising tailored to you. 3. Third-party cookies
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information about the use of the website, which Google processes on behalf of BRT for statistical purposes. Google may transfer this information to Google LLC, in the United States, with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. 4. How to accept, reject or withdraw your consent
The first time you access our website, you are shown a banner that allows you to accept all cookies, reject those that are not technical, or configure your preferences by category. Cookies that are not technical are only installed if you accept them. Without your consent, BRT will not link the cookie information with the personal data you provide us when registering or making a purchase.
You can change your preferences or withdraw your consent at any time through the [link or "Cookie settings" button available in the footer]. We will ask you for your consent again after a maximum of twenty-four (24) months from when you gave it.
