As we walk through the Serra do Azor, while being captivated by the majestic appearance and purity of the landscape, we are invaded by curiosity and impatience. Piódão is determined to remain hidden in order to, unexpectedly, dazzle us with its architecture, which so well reflects our capacity to adapt harmoniously to the most inhospitable and also the most sublime places. As if it were a nativity scene, the houses are distributed around the terraces, marked by blue and slate, through winding, narrow streets that hide the history of the village of Piódão at every corner.
